Department of Computer Science and Engineering at VIST focuses on practical exposure along with technology.The CSE department has a remarkable and extensive history, as well as an exceptional track record ofcontributions to the industry and community. The Department offers a thorough curriculum with a focus on hands-on learning that covers all facets of computer hardware and software.
The Department is equipped with modern technologies, including high-speed Ethernet and wireless networks. Our academic members strive to provide excellent education by integrating their extensive research knowledge with in class instruction.As part of its focus on industry requirements, the department impartsspecial sessions on Python, RedHat, with live major-minor project making under the able guidance oftrained faculties.

The scope of Computer Science & Engineering is endless.In our department, we not only give emphasis on study but also apply our knowledge in understanding what computers are, what is its architecture, how to efficiently program them, different tools to write an effective algorithm, the interface between the computer and the user, the computer graphics, computer networking, managing the software database, software engineering and testing them efficiently and more.

- Mission-III: Develop the art of logical thinking to solve complex industrial problems related to Computer Science and Engineering resulting in research and innovation.
